Laura Howden.jpg

Originally from Canada, Laura travelled to Australia to complete her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Falling in love with the Australian life style, Laura moved to Perth to enjoy life on the West Coast. With an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, the study of human movement, Laura has a thorough understanding of how the human body functions. She has a strong interest in injury rehabilitation and is passionate about helping her patients achieve their goals. She is committed to providing a high level of care using evidence-based practice, and offers a well-rounded treatment approach through the combination of hands-on therapy and exercise prescription. Areas of special interest include orthopaedic and sports injury rehabilitation.

As well as a physiotherapist, Laura is also a Clinical Pilates Instructor. Laura uses Pilates as an adjunct treatment to help manage and prevent injury, enhance mobility and athletic performance, and promote the maintenance of activity and health in her patients. Laura offers private, semi-private, and group Pilates classes. With 2 Laura's in the studio, we like to call her Canada. When not treating, Laura enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and exploring the outdoors - like all good Canadians!
